Philly Baby!! ;P ...Part II

During the world cup finals I was driving around looking for an Italian bar to watch the game, it took me a while to find one since Americans weren't interested in the world cup. I passed thru little italy and it was deserted, everyone was indoors watching the game, only I didn't know where to go. As I was about to give up I stumbled upon this little Italian bar in Manyunk, a small posh town 10 mins from downtown Philly. Very nice place. Unfortunately, by the time I parked the car and walked to the bar there were only the last few minutes to the game. I did join in the celebrations ;)


He needs to change his tires after all that smoke!


They all ran through the streets shouting "Italia! Italia!"


They stopped every car that passed by and jumped on the hood.


They even stopped a bus and had the driver open its door. They ran through the bus.


When the cops passed by they were all quiet all of a sudden. Once the cops passed through they continued running through the streets. One guy road his porsche o shafa6 tishifi6 in the middle!

It was a very exciting day!

Philly Baby!! ;P ...Part I

I spent some time in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania while in the States over the summer. I had a good time and took a few pix. Enjoy!

Philly is well known for their Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches so I was taken to a couple of restaurants that are famous for their sandwiches and they're located right across from each other. Pat's & Geno's.

I tried both and Pat's sandwich is alot better than Geno's. It was a messy experience ..birbis! The sandiwch was very fulfilling so any side orders will be untouched unless u share.

To Be - Part II

I know it has been a while since i last blogged but for some reason all ideas seem to disappear once i sit infront of the PC.

I've spent my summer in the States & London..i had a BLAST! Might post about it later on. I will show u the boring pics, sorry no wild pics ..what happens in London staaaaaaaays in London ;p

My room has also been redesigned this summer which i will post with pictures another day.

Our cook is back in Kuwait! YaaY back to the good food. Yireesh & warag 3nab all the way. I will post a pic of our cook only if there is enuf demand :p

I'm starting my MBA end of September & i'm not sure i'll be in a studying mood by then. It's been 6 years since I graduated! Sheesh that long!

Ramathan is coming up & im really looking forward to it :)

Newborn Kitty!

Found it just outside the house. Antz were walking all over it. So i bought it in, gave it a bath, fed it & took it to the vet. I called PAWS because i dont think i'll be able to take care of it much longer. Im too worried it'll die if it's not given proper care. So i'm waiting for PAWS to call me back for further info, they're very helpful. It's so tiny!

Orange Pride

So yesterday I passed by the Orange Thingy and I was very impressed. Some were really there for the cause others were there to flirt and some were trying to figure out who the bloggers, if any, were.

It was very organized and everyone was in high spirits. The organizers did a great job :)

As for the sleep over, that was interesting to see. I heard they really enjoyed it with Oud playing and singing into the night. The next day they woke up to the smell of breakfast.

I hope they get their 5 for all their hard work :)

Hayat is Back!!

The charity sale is back on track! The sale of home accessories and home made goods will be held tomorrow at Qortuba Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah's Hall and all proceeds will go to cancer patients being treated at Makki Jum3a Hospital.

Monday 8th: Opening at 7pm
Tuesday 9th & Wed 10th: 9.30 am – 12.30pm & 5pm – 9pm
